Dave Renaud is a veterinary epidemiologist in the Department of Population Medicine. His research focus is on improving the health and welfare of calves, with specific interest in identifying risk factors associated with mortality at milk-fed and grain-fed veal operations, exploring novel strategies to reduce antimicrobial use in the veal sector, evaluation the utility of navel disinfection in dairy calves, as well as identifying new technologies to improve calf health and welfare.
