Role: Project Coordinator
As a Project Coordinator, Ann assists in planning, developing, and implementing operational work plans and processes for key project components and supports reporting and impact tracking activities. She provides support to researchers, the Food from Thought operations team, and other operational units of the University, overseeing components of the project. Ann administers the Food from Thought Conference Bursary and HQP programs.
Ann has many years of experience in managing projects in the agri-food sector from both a financial and scientific perspective. She spent over 12 years at KPMG in the R&D incentives practice obtaining government program funding for companies conducting research and innovation activities. Ann worked at the Guelph Food Technology Centre in a Senior Project Manager role delivering research and development initiatives for various agri-food companies.
